Since junior high, I have been choosing a style to guide what clothes I wear each year. Most of the time, I only have enough clothes for a weeks worth of outfits by the end of the school year.
This year, I chose a much more achievable style for me. Grunge-goth. I combine them so I can wear my crappy thrift store clothes with gothy leather and chains. I went to Value Village and bought a couple of faded plaid button up shirts, which I can layer over a beat up tee. Then, I wear a loose (p)leather jacket, making it look almost edgy, but it's really not. As far as pants go... I like jeans. Black jeans, stone-wash jeans, ripped jeans... The list goes on. Another favorite of mine: Beatnik skirts. <3
I have made several mistakes in the past. In late elementary school, I would wear boy clothes and baggy girl clothes. I hated skirts, horses, pink and boy bands. When I look back at it, I think it's actually kind of funny. However, in the early grades I wore as many bright colors as I could. Things change I guess...
Lalalalalala....
