My Dad programs computers for a living. Sometimes I ask him to explain what he did today at work. As it turns out, I have a lot to learn about computers. At least I've figured out the Internet.
So, I've been trying to earn money for a concert later this year. The tickets are $100+. My Dad says "Programming is a useful skill to have, I might pay you to make a program..." He was trying to corner me into studying programming until I figured a budgeting program. I spent a week doing the tutorials from the Microsoft website. I finished the "Introduction to C#". (C# is a computer language). All I did was make a program that said
"Your name please:_(Type your name)_"
"Hello, _(Name)_"
But if you typed in "Emily,"it would say
"Hi, Emily"
This simple program caused me much frustration, followed by misery. However, I got $3 for my pain. Which is better than nothing.
I've decided programming isn't exactly my thing. :D
